My name is Lacy I am a loving female cat and I am gorgeous!!  I am very shy at first and will hide for a few hours until I feel safe. 

My former family could not take me to their new place and I have been with an interim family for a few years, now I cannot be around a family member, due to open heart surgery, long recovery and avoidance of infection. 

I mostly like to relax, lounge especially near a windows where I can get some sun rays, I am indoor and outdoor. 

I am used to being around dogs and I sometimes lay my head on the dog's body and just chill.  I love to jump on laps and just sleep, I enjoy cuddling and always welcome a rub.

I am medium haired and need brushing at least once a week and an occasional grooming especially hygiene trim.

I get along just fine with children so long as they do rough house with me.  I like a warm soft bed, I am litter box trained and I like a scratching post.

I am definitely indoor and outdoor, I prefer to keep my claws in case I need to defend myself while outside, I have not been in any cat fights, but you never know when they might come in handy.  I definitely want to be inside on cold and rainy days and cold night.

When company arrives, if I've never seen them before I will mind my business go to my bed or hide under the bed or behind the couch until I am comfortable coming out.
