Reisling is a gray and white male kitty with green eyes, who really enjoys being petted, which makes his little motor just purr. He'll sit on your lap for hours if you let him but he is also very playful.  He is so cute when he is playing with his soft ball and he carries it around his home.  He likes his little soft deep catbed, and enjoyed cuddling with his sibling Chardonnay, too, but she is now adopted, and he says "isn't it my time?" He is also fine with gentle dogs.  Reisling enjoys playing up and down the “jungle gym”. He was rescued from an industrial complex where all the cats/kitties were targeted to be put to sleep.
This cuddly kitty did test positive for FELV. So he would be best as a single, indoor-only kitty or in a home with other FELV kitties all being managed to minimize stress on the immune system.

I am happy to arrange a foster home visit for him.

This Spring something happened we think an injury (the vets aren't sure) that has caused him to not be able to use his rear legs. He is still a happy guy though and doesn't let that stop him as he moves around pulling his legs behind him to check things out and play with his toys!

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.
Because we are an all-volunteer organization, and many of us have full-time jobs outside of our volunteer activities, it may be a few days before someone can respond to your email. We always try to reply as soon as possible.
