THE BEST CAT YOU EVER HAD!

Cowboy is ready to connect with his sidekick and best friend forever. Is that you? This guy is full of love, and wants lots of tender cuddles and tons of play time. He’s the kind of cat that is very responsive and wants to be close to his favorite human at all times.

He used to be a feral cat who lived in our neighborhood, but now he wants to live inside and enjoy the good life. We would LOVE to keep him as he is very funny and loves to cuddle up at night with us. We have a full house, however, and Cowboy deserves someone who can give him their full attention.

Cowboy is likely quite young; he is very kittenish. He wants to play several times a day and will engage us regularly. He’s so funny that he has earned the nickname “Captain Crazy.” These photos don't show how silly and rambunctious he gets every day. Those photos were all blurry!

We are looking to place him in a home where someone is around most of the time to play and share their day with him. He will happily gallop to any room you move to…really, he actually gallops!

A couple of things to note:

He has FIV. FIV is transmitted to other cats only through very deep bite wounds (it cannot be spread through sharing of bowls or grooming or playing), so FIV cats can live a long and happy life with other cats who are pretty comfortable sharing a space with them. That being said, its up to you as to whether or not to take that chance. He’s been living with our cats fairly well, and we’ve known other FIV positive cats who have co-existed in a household of cats without a problem. But ultimately the safest choice is to place him in a home with no other cats.

As we mentioned, Cowboy loves to play, eat, and snuggle A LOT. He is learning how to communicate these desires while living with humans. Right now he often uses biting to get our attention, but we’re teaching him to use soft paws and meows instead of his teeth. He’s getting better at it! We would like to place him with someone who likes the challenge of teaching a cat new behaviors and who is patient and doesn’t get upset with occasional roughness. You know who you are….a cat person for sure.

Ready to connect with the guy who you will tell others is the BEST CAT you’ve ever had? Give us a call: Michelle 408 910-9187.
