Toothless needs a home

Every now and then you come across a truly special pet. One of those sweet little

critters that just curls up in your lap and burrows into your heart at the same time.

Toothless is one of those remarkable little kitties.

We found him in the parking lot of an ice hockey rink in Fremont. We think he was

dumped out there because there is a feral cat colony nearby. His tongue was hanging out

and his drool was green. We immediately took him to emergency vet care.

The next day we brought him back and got him neutered and microchipped. He then

underwent extensive dental surgery and had to have every single tooth removed! His

gums were so badly abscessed and the teeth so decayed they couldn’t save a single one.

So, Toothless. After several weeks of recovery and antibiotics, you would never guess he

was the same cat. The vet was amazed!

Toothless is between 8 and 10 years old. He is playful and engaging. He is sweet and

chatty. He loves to be picked up and held. Given a lap, he will drape all over you and purr

for hours! He can eat dry food as long as the pellet size is fairly small and he LOVES wet

food. He lets you trim his claws with very little fuss, but he does try to capture your

hand and hold it when you pull away. He is learning that behavior is a big no-no!

Here is the hitch: Toothless needs to be an ONLY PET in the household. He is

easily startled and very aggressive to other cats. None of our integration techniques

have worked and he still goes after the other two cats in our household.

This absolutely breaks our hearts because we have fallen head over heels in love with

this gorgeous little boy. We are searching for that special someone who can love him as

much as we do. I promise that he is worth it. He will love you with every last fiber of his

little kitty being. If you think you have the heart for this special little boy, please call, text. 408-393-5363  kemp.felicia@gmail.com
