Toothless is an interesting “black” cat since it’s not *all* black: he has the coolest dark gray stripes behind his ears and an occasional lone and long gray hair through his coat. Add that to his gorgeous olive green and black eyes and you’ll now why we called him Toothless (think the animated movie “How to Train Your Dragon” and you’ll know what Toothless we saw when looking at his face.)

This little guy is a total love-bug! Loves touching you, sleeping with you, sleeping on your lap, on your shoulder, on your back, anywhere where he can touch you. When Toothless hasn’t seen you in a while, he’s fast to LICK your ankle, hand (or face) to let you know just how much he’s missed you! Toothless has arguably the softest fur you’re bound to find, and loves to play - chasing your fingers, a toy, or a shadow! Toothless is the most independent of the kittens we’ve had in a while -- equally content to snooze on a pillow all by himself, or snuggle up in a bunch with his littermates.

And his TONGUE! I know, it sounds silly, but I’ve only run into one other cat that would show you his affection through some gentle licks. And no joke, you simply need to walk into the room after being away for a few hours and Toothless comes running, stands up on his hind legs, and will lick your ankle! Gotta see (experience!) it to believe it…! He isn’t very loud (we haven’t heard him cry yet…) but he purrs and purrs like there’s no end in sight when you pet him. He plays VERY well (nibbles, doesn’t bite, jumps, chases all manner of toys, etc) and snuggle equally well when you’re both ready to just sit down. He’s a super-trusting little dude who will readily give you his belly and lie still on his back (yes, totally prone and vulnerable) in hopes of a little tummy rub! Not sure if it was a fluke, but rubbing in small circles made him purr and purr for almost 15 minutes!

Toothless has been fostered “well” - with lots of guests over to see and hold him, vacuums (loud noises), regular nail trimming, and tons of play time... this means you are looking at a very well socialized kitty who isn’t afraid, loves attention, and is very trusting.
