Champ is a handsome tuxedo kitty, who loves other cats; he quickly decided that his foster roommate cat (Hope) made a great pillow!   Every morning Champ is excited to see the foster people, and talks to tell you so.  He wants to be petted and adored a bit, even before eating breakfast!  As part of an overcrowded cat situation where the people didn't bother to fix their first cats and they just kept multiplying, he was born with a congenital defect so he only has one eye but that doesn’t bother him in the least.  He enjoys playing with all kinds of toys; he really likes catnip toys and oh yes sitting in boxes!

It’s been quite a change for Champ to be in a foster home with a single roommate and space to call their own, and he is doing really well and blossoming.   He was a last chance cat who was to be put to sleep at a local kill shelter when we took him in, and he says he is grateful, but does want a real forever home soon.  He adds, he really enjoys the company of other cats and it was really hard for him at the shelter as they keep them in individual cages, so he would love to be in a house with other cats and/or gentle dogs.  Or a family with lots of time for him.
