She loves to play and carry her stuft toys!

About Cataloupe

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Orange
  • Color: orange tabby with dorsal strip! / Tabby
  • Current Age: 9 Years 10 Months (best estimate)
  • Microchipped: Yes
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes
Cataloupe is very playful - she can find anything to be a toy (see video)!  She particularly loves her little stuffed bear and balls are just soooooo fun.  She enjoys her petting and being held and purrs and arches into all the attention.  She is being fostered in a home with kids, and has been good with all their friends who come and visit.
Cataloupe is the middle sister of the group of 10 kittens rescued from a backyard in San Jose; being a female orange tabby is kinda rare and having a dorsal stripe even rarer!
Cataloupe can be adopted solo to the right home or to go with another kitty;  she does love other kitties and is fine with gentle dogs too.

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
