Awhina means "she knows" and Awhina is very sure she knows!  She is very active and talkative and sooooo playful.  She loves cat trees, and wand toys and is really cute how she also likes to take her toys to her "den" and "own" them (like in the photo)!  We're betting she is going to learn to play fetch!
Being so active she does need lots of playmates and a family that can deal with the energy.
She does also like to be held and cuddled by her foster mom, but really ita all about exploring for her.  It may take a while for her to adjust in a new home but she'll be Awhina when she does!

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
