Tina is the odd-ball out since she's the only black kitten in a litter of three where the two others are clearly Russian Blue. So while she doesn't look like it, she's a SMART one! She is gorgeous with her elongated features: a long slinky body, super long tail, and a beautifully lean face.

Tina has one of the best dispositions for a young cat we've seen in a while: super friendly and a fun-loving kitty who plays hard, then naps just as hard. Sit down and Tina will quickly join you, prefering to sit on a lap (unlike her sister Anya who goes straight for your chest or shoulder). She comes to her name -- from anywhere in the house -- and has been fond of sleeping under the covers with us at night too (super snuggle kitty!). In fact, if you cup your hand or make a little crook in your arm, she'll drop her head right there and just go to sleep.

While Tina WAS the most shy and cautious of the three kittens initually, she's grown into her confidence and loves to see what's going on: she has the most amazing balance and will perch on ANYTHING then just watch things - anything that moves pretty much. She's now used to the vacuum cleaner when it gets turned on too.

One of her favorite things now is to chase and catch reflections - we often sit and bounce the sunlight off our iPhones on the walls, and celings and just watch her stalk the light, and "chitter" her little head off.

She LOVES company, and was just starting to bond with our two other cats (Tina saw them as big overgrown playtoys!) when she was moved to the adoption center on Coleman.

She will make an AWESOME addition to any family! So please go and visit her and you'll see what I mean.

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
