What big eyes indeed! Maya is a sweet, gentle, and purr-ific kitty! When she feels safe, Maya loves to get cuddles and pats. Her favorite toy is her wand, which she goes to great lengths to steal away into her "room". Maya also loves to play with her big foster brother throughout the day, although she does enjoy having her alone time. In general, she's a lower-energy cat.  Maya presents as frightened and aloof with new people, but even though her body language is signalling those messages, once she is being petted and handled gently she starts to purr. A kind and confident companion cat would help Maya get used to a new home. However, a home that could provide her with a safe space and lots of wand play would do just as well!  Maya is the last of a litter of 4 to find her forever home.  This gal has been very patient and resilient: she has been at the adoption center, in a foster home where there was a small dog, and now with this family and their cat.This poor wandering one is ready for her fur-ever home...this sweetie is definitely worth the extra bit of love!
