Rose was surrendered to the shelter by her owner of 12 years when they needed to move.
She was very overweight; unable to groom herself and seemed to have been neglected. She was on the rescue list for awhile before one of our volunteers offered to take her from the shelter; foster her and work with her issues. She really is a very sweet girl without a mean bone in her body. She loves to be pet and especailly likes belly rubs! We have been trying to get her to move around more and has been on a special diet since she came to us. She is looking for a home that can continue to nurture her and help her get to a more normal weight
update-- our gal is losing weight-- grooming herself more and doing well-- all lab work normal
