She's full of energy and personality!

  • Color: Tortie
  • Current Age: 4 Years 7 Months (best estimate)
  • Microchipped: Yes
  • Declawed: No

Marina was rescued from a local shelter with a litter of 5 kittens; she was a very good mom, took good care of her kittens and taught them how nice people were. Originally she was protective of them (which is why the shelter asked us to rescue them) but once here she quickly realized they were all safe and was super friendly.

She is talkative and active and will do well in a family that is, like her, full of energy. She enjoys petting and comes right up to you when she sees you and even lovingly rubs on your legs. She is easy to pick up and hold, but I wouldn't consider her a lap cat per se - too much energy. She took a bath and did very well with it! And she is a smart cat and learns quickly.

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
