Beemer, named after the BMW, is a social, fun-loving cat with a lot of character.  When he lived outside, he would greet community feeders at the curb and escort them to the feeding foods.  He is food motivated and always 1st inline whenever wet food or treats are available.  
 
When it comes to playing, Beemer is curious to explore his nearby surroundings.  When he was outdoors, he was known to jump and leap in the tall grasses like a rabbit.  Now indoors, he enjoys his favorite toys include wands, mice, feather toys, and catnip.  While playing with you, he’ll also look for head butts and pets- his favorites are scratches along his cheeks and behind his ears.  Sometimes he’ll start to purr, but other times he can get over-stimulated.  For this reason, Beemer would do best with someone who is experienced with cats and knows whether it’s best to give Beemer attention or time to cool down.  
 
Beemer quickly warms up to people he has positive interactions with and would do well inside with someone who has time to play and give him some scratches and pets in between.  When he lived outdoors, everyone was charmed by him and wished he could find a forever home.  We hope Beemer can find his human match and get the safety and love every cat deserves.

Beemer is still rough around the edges and needs an owner experienced in socializing cats. He has adapted well to indoor life but would like a place of his own without other cats.
