Poppy showed up at a lady's house in the hills of San Bruno with her 2 siblings and mama.  The kind lady started to feed them but soon the mama and 2 kittens had disappeared and only Poppy was left.. She contacted a cat-rescue person who trapped her and brought her in.  Even though Poppy was already about 4 months old she was easy to handle and very sweet.  She enjoyed playing with her fellow foster kitties until she suddenly began having coughing/gagging problems and has since been diagnosed with asthma. 

Poppy's asthma is controlled right now without the need for medication. She will have difficulty breathing for about 30 seconds, no longer than a minute at most. She has been seen by the specialists at sage who want to continue monitoring  her

we are actually looking for a home that is ok caring for her while 13th st cats keep financial responsibility
