Rexy is a lover. He loves to cuddle on your lap or near the back of your head and nuzzle your neck. He loves his head massaged the most and will sit purring in utter delight.

Rexy would thrive in a home that does not have energetic toddlers or curious young kids. He loves to be center of attention so possibly being the only “cat-love” companion in your life would be the start to the perfect friendship. He will take a couple weeks to warm up to you but once he trusts you, you will have a forever fur buddy.

Rexy is a daily alarm to his Breakfast and Dinner times. He loves to snack on kibble and occasional treats. His absolute favorite treat in the world is turkey meat!

He is house trained but will require a cat tree that has a cat scratching post. He does not like his cat litter dirty or he will leave you a surprise outside the box. He loves to explore and probably would prefer being an outdoor cat if you want.

Backstory: Rexy was part of our original 2-cat’s litter 12 years ago. We had found him a “forever home” for 4 years or so. Unfortunately, circumstances changed and had the opportunity to bring him back to live with our family. He might have been an outdoor cat but was not allowed to be an outdoor cat in our home. However, would escape at any chance to explore and come back after a little while.

Once we started growing our family we recognized that Rexy is not fond of small children. We knew we would have to find home to a family or individual who will love him through the rest of his years! It won’t be without a lot of reciprocated love !
