Zelda is a great cat!

Zelda was rescued from a small backyard colony in Saratoga.   She has been living inside since September.  She particularly likes the companionship of another friendly cat.

She is smart and social.  She likes to talk.   Zelda likes to play with other cats/people.  She runs down the hall and likes to play with the colorful wand that we have.  She is not a lap cat yet, but has the potential to become one.  She likes to be pet and has a deep roar of a purr!  She loves other cats when properly introduced.

She is up to date on all vaccinations and she has had the FELV/FIV combo test and was negative.  She does not have feline leukemia and is fine to be with other cats.  Many rescue groups and the Shelter/Humane society no longer test for this.

Zelda  is given free access to the whole house during the day.  We do have a kids gate to keep the dogs out of the cat area, but Zelda enjoys running the hallway and playing/socializing with the other cats.  She does get put in the bathroom when her people go out and at night.  Zelda is comfortable living in a household.

She will need time to adjust to the new household and get used to the smells and environment of a new home.  She also would need to be gradually introduced to the current cat or cats.

Zelda would be a wonderful companion!
