He's a nice gentle guy - but will take a while to warm up

Conan is a sweet young cat, 16 months old, who was part of a home with a large group of cats that we got involved with helping get fixed and rehoming. He's a little unsure about why he had to leave his first home, but they really did NOT need to have so many cats.

He likes people and being brushed; he's got a wonderful Maine Coon type coat, and he is sooooo handsome. We called him Conan because he's a beefy looking guy. At the home he was at he was being kind of aggressive with the other cats but it's not a surprise because it was so crowded. But we do recommend he be an only cat; we think he will really enjoy the attention, as he does love attention.

The perfect home would be people who are familiar with working slowly and patiently with cats going through changes, as he is still a bit shell-shocked!

Then he'll warm up quickly, as he just adores his neck and jowls being scratched and will roll over for tummy rubs too! Oh, and he loves his canned food too!

The home he came from does have dogs and kids, and so he should be OK once over the shock of a new place.
