Beefy was a long-time resident at a community cat feeding site. She was always a favorite of the feeders; talking and wanting pets. It wasn't until Beefy was treated for an upper respiratory inflection that we realized that Beefy is a fully socialized cat. She was brought inside and is doing fine.

Beefy loves people and other cats. She is looking for a home with cats that like other cats but she would also do well on her own. Due to her size she can be intimidating and scary. She really just wants a friend, human or feline. Beefy is not keen on kittens. A very slow introduction is required if a kitten is in or brought into the household.

Beefy LOVES being brushed. It's a regular activity. She so enjoys it. You will be her friend for life if you brush her. Did I mention that Beefy is talker? She will hold a conversation and tell you what she wants.

Having lived on the street for years it's surprising that Beefy likes toys. Mouse-on-wire is her favorite and she is learning about other kinds. She plays a strategic game of turbo ball. It's mesmerizing how she can precisely hit the ball to put it where she wants.
