Polly came to us after their elderly mom passed away. Nobody in the family would take her, and they were planning to euthanize her. Instead, we took her in and are currently fostering her. However, we already have two cats and do not have the capacity to care for all three cats long term, so are hoping to find her a loving, long-term home.

Polly is a talkative, loving tabby cat who would like nothing more than to sit on your lap and get petted. She enjoys playing with string and likes to get brushed. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, and has recently had a complete veterinary workup with a clean bill of health, although she does have some arthritis. She is missing many of her teeth, but it doesn’t seem to interfere with her ability to eat dry food and her favorite treats, though she does prefer pouch food. She also used to be an indoor/outdoor cat, and would appreciate a home with a sliding glass door to an enclosed patio/garden or accessible window for her to safely look out and admire the view.

Polly is a good litter box user and has no behavioral issues. She is fine with being picked up and held and is affectionate. Polly lived with a small dog the past three years, but we are not sure how well they got along.
