Nico has FELV, but he is a happy kitty and loves to hang out with you.  We give him immunoquin to boost his immune system and the foster home showers him with love!

Nico was rescued from San Jose Animal Care and Services when he was on the Needs Rescue list and no other rescue was willing to consider him;  it does take a special caring organization and we are one of those, so we did the rescue and are so happy we did, he's a great kitty, and every moment is precious.

He loves her foster home but he says “I’d love to have a family to call my own forever home, even if that’s not a really long time”.

Since this loving, cuddly kitty did test positive for FeLV, he would be best as a single, indoor-only kitty, with a gentle dog, or in a home with other FeLV kitties, all being managed to minimize stress on the immune system.

You can read more about FeLV at:

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
