Roberto is a Flame Point Siamese and a very sweet, loving, and playful kitten. He was rescued off the streets in Mexico back in October 2021 when he was just 2 months old and weighed less than a pound. He was immediately treated for a badly broken right front leg.  The vets who treated Roberto said his injury was so severe that his leg needed amputation. 

Even though it took Roberto about 2 months to completely recover from his surgery, he never gave up the will to get better and adjust to life as a tripod. He quickly learned how to get around and play and has been a happy, loving kitten the entire time he’s been in our care. 

Roberto enjoys exploring and playing to the fullest. He is quite a chatter and is very vocal when it comes to having conversations. When it comes to bedtime, if what you’re looking for is your own personal warm, biscuits making, cuddly purring machine Roberto is your guy! He enjoys sleeping curled up next to his humans or cheek to cheek, literally!  He is an early bird and enjoys waking up bright and early to use his litter box, which he is really good at, and to have an early morning snack before going back to bed. 

He is good around other cats and he would be fine having more furry friends or being an only cat. He needs to be an indoor only cat due to his tripod situation. 

He’s had soft stool issues these past months and his vet here recommended he have a special food diet as well as Forti Flora Symbiotic Action Pre/Probiotics (1 pack per day mixed with wet food). The food he eats is Hills i/d digestive care. His vet would like to have him continue with these 2 things for another month or so.  If his stool improves, he may be able to transition to a non-prescription diet over time. Roberto was also diagnosed with occasional cat acne, which is treatable with a prescription shampoo that gets applied to his chin as needed. 

He truly is the purrfect companion for anyone. He has such a big heart and lots of love to give. We are hopeful that he will find his furrever home soon!
