Hi I’m Pirate (also known as “little man” by my foster Mom).

 I love to play, with anyone, or any toy, or even on my own. I’m partial to peacock feathers, cat dancers, and crinkle balls, but my absolute favorite is the laser pointer. The only things I like better than playing is getting pets and purring. I will march around purring and making happy feet/biscuits, every time I see you. I even like to have my little spotted belly rubbed.

 

I can be easily startled by new sounds or sudden movements, but I only need a few seconds to recover my courage, and then my natural curiosity takes over. 

 My foster Mom and her two adult cats have been helping me practice being brave. I’m getting more adventurous and snuggly every day.

 I seem to like other cats very much and would really benefit from a companion. Right now I have found the best playmate in my brother, Pepito! 

 

I do have a runny eye that needs daily medication, but I’m happy to trade a chin scratch and a belly rub for some purrs and be a really sweet and gentle boy for my eye drops.
