On September 10th I was almost hit by a car. That’s the day my whole life changed. I met a nice lady who stopped traffic and followed me across the street. She put me in her car to make sure I was ok. I didn’t have a chip for the Animal Control lady to scan to find my house, but my parent's neighbor walked by and recognized me. What a miracle, yay! They can bring me to my home. My parents weren’t home, so they took me to the shelter to wait for them to come to get me. I waited, and I waited, and then I waited some more. My parents decided not to bring me home, so I stayed there for 20 days. Then the nice lady who found me on the street came one day to get me out of there. She says it was for the best that they left me there because I was so skinny and dirty when she found me. I got a bath the first day at her house, which is not my favorite, but I love being brushed… and I’m getting lots of yummy food and treats, gravy is my favorite, and I love it! She has two old kitties, and one of them doesn’t like me at all, so we’re looking for my forever home now. My foster mom tells me I’m the best kitty because I don’t scratch furniture, I’m really clean in the litter box, I love tummy rubs and being held, I’m quiet, and I’m little (I’m only 3) and I love playing with toys and sleeping a lot. I’m a very good girl, and I could be great with babies and other animals. She says I have this thing called a very sweet disposition. Oh, and the
vet lady said all my tests came back as purrrfect as can be.
Lucy has found a home. Thank you!
