Mac (also known as Macaroni and Macintosh) is a cautious and shy kitten, but once he’s warmed up to someone, he loves them wholeheartedly! Right now, he loves his foster mom best and follows her around the house, rubbing up against her ankles and asking for pets. When he first arrived at his foster home, he only liked his kitten foster brother, Moo. Mac would hide under the bed and rarely let anyone touch him. His foster mom spent a lot of time sitting on the floor by the bed, coaxing him out. Now that he’s gotten more comfortable, he will let his foster people pet him and doesn’t run away to hide when new people come to the house. Mac still doesn’t like to be held for very long, but he does purr when he’s pet by his foster people, and he will come to say hi and curl up next to his foster mom. Mac absolutely loves playing with toys of all kinds, but his favorites are his big mouse and the crinkle balls. He carries his favorite toys around the house and bats them all over the floor when he’s ready to play. Mac also loves playing with his foster brother Moo, and, ideally, would be adopted with him, but could be okay going by himself. Mac needs someone who is willing to be patient and invest the time in helping him be comfortable in his forever home. He is slow to warm up, but once he does, he is an absolute sweetheart who adores his person.
