About kiki | |
Eventually, she brought her 4 kittens to the fosters’ backyard, and they were all fostered together. Kiki warms up in her own time, she is soft, cautious, and curious. Once she trusts, she loves to be in the company of people and other cats. From being an outside cat who could not be bothered with “inert” cat toys, she has become a cat that decided wand toys can be fun and deigns to chase the occasional ball. Her cat tunnel is a favorite resting spot. Kiki quickly learned to “sit,” and “look” on command, with target sound of “yes” followed by a treat. For a home so inclined, she’d likely respond well to clicker training. She loves her food, and might learn to use puzzle toys to find treats. Kiki loves to bask in the sun, and enjoys a breeze! When comfortable, she will sit or lie right next to and up against her people, purring loudly as they pet her. She is not —at this time—a lap cat, but she is definitely a very companiable little gal. She went from being an outside stray cat, to a mama taking care of her kittens indoors, to a cat waiting on a life where she can feel safely loved and become someone’s beloved feline friend. She is a special sweetheart, who made two “dog” people fall in love with her (and her babies). Fosters would have kept her, except for cat allergies in the family.
To Adopt one of our Cats or Kittens, If the animal bio says that they are a "Courtesy Listing", Thank you for wanting to Adopt! -------------- 13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose. We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
