Pepper is a handsome boy who looks like an aloof house panther but is really a sweet and friendly kitty. He is easily startled and needs some time and patience to feel comfortable in a new situation, but once he feels secure, Pepper is a big lovebug who wants lots of attention and snuggles. When he’s playing, he keeps coming back to his person for more love and gives gentle headbutts while purring up a storm. Pepper loves wand toys and batting a ball around a track, and likes to find a safe hiding spot in every room. He can be cautious around new people, and will run and hide if he’s spooked by a loud noise or someone moving too fast. When he’s decided it’s safe to come out again, he’ll meow until he finds his people and then wants lots of love and reassurance. Pepper needs someone who can be patient with him while he adjusts to his new home, and then he will reward you with his big heart and mellow purr.
