The "Gentle Giant"

Meet Goliath: The 13lb Storyteller of Downtown San Jose

They say some of the best things in life are found in the most unexpected places. For Goliath, "unexpected" was a busy street in Downtown San Jose where he was found nursing a paw injury. But what started as a rescue mission turned into a revelation: this 13lb, extra-tall "House Panther" wasn’t just a survivor—he was a professional companion.

Goliath spent his recovery on mandatory bed rest, and he used that time to prove he is the ultimate "people cat." While he’s a large, impressive fellow, his heart is even bigger. Goliath is what we call a "vocalist." He doesn't just meow; he tells you about his day, narrating his adventures from the window to the food bowl and back again. If you’re looking for a cat who will actually listen to your stories (and provide his own commentary), Goliath is your man.

Personality & Perks:

Goliath’s paw is fully healed, and his handsome black fur is growing back nicely. He is ready to trade in his "medical leave" for a permanent position as your sofa sidekick.

Adoption Details:  In honor of the neighborhood that helped him, we are asking for a  $50 donation directly to the San Jose Woman’s Club . As a "thank you," Goliath comes with a custom care package to get him settled into his new forever home.
