Pressley and her siblings were born at the San Jose Animal Care Center to a stray cat who was taken there pregnant. Newborn kittens cannot stay at the shelter, so luckily the Mama and babies were rescued by a volunteer. The Mama and babies lived in a nice warm bathroom, and did not have to worry about being cold and hungry.
Once the kittens were big enough they were able to interact with the older foster kittens. The tiny two pounders were having a great time wrestling and playing with cats five times their size! The kittens favorite toys are laser trackball or laser pointers, and of course anything with strong organic catnip. They really will play with anything-including some things that are off limits like paper towels!
Pressley is the petite kitten of the three siblings. But don't let her size fool you, she can hold her own while wrestling larger kittens. She has the sweetest look on her face all of the time as if she is smiling. And she has a funny habit that is as cute as her face. She loves to roll around on the floor like a piglet.
Pressley loves to be massaged and brushed, just like her siblings. She also loves treat time, and favors bonito tuna flakes and most fish based treats. Her and her siblings eat a high protein grain free diet that keeps their coats thick and soft.
She would need to be adopted along with one of her siblings, or another cat or kitten. Or she can go to a household with an existing feling, or perhaps a canine? She and her siblings have no experience with children or dogs. A very gentle child or dog might be a good match.Pressley is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and deflead. One kitten from each litter is tested for FIV/FELV, and Pressley has tested negative.
