Stewie and his siblings were found foraging through garbage totes at the curb on pickup day.  It was so sad to see them inside a pizza box eating crusts.  Lucky for them a rescuer spotted them, and made it her mission to spay and neuter all of the cats on the street.  The kittens were shy, but they could be picked up quickly and put in a cat carrier.  As for the Mama and other adults on the street, they are being trapped, neutered, and returned.

Stewie must have been handled by humans when he was a small kitten, because he was super sweet and affectionate right off the bat.  He purrs the instant you get near him.  He is the total love bug kitten, and definitely lives up to the orange tabby cat rule-that orange tabbies make the best  cats.  He does have some solid white in his coat as well, but the orange tabby is dominant. He is not very photogenic though-he is much cuter in person :-)

He gets along with every cat in the house, and he has a happy-go-lucky personality.  Nothing seems to bother Stewie!  He absolutely loves to play with the smaller kittens, and his personality is closer to theirs, than it is to the adult mellow cats.

Stewie could be adopted on his own, particularly if the adopters work from home, or are retired.  It would be nicer for him, however, if he could have a playmate to bounce his energy off of.

It's unclear what experience he has had with children and dogs, but there are certainly a lot of both in the neighborhood he came from.  He was on the streets until he was about 3.5 months old, so he probably had a lot of interaction, both good and not so good.

Stewie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and deflead.
