Chief is the slightly older member of his little clan. He is handsome and smart, enjoys being petted, and just wants a real home. Someone dumped him and his friends at a fire station - we guess they were thinking Safeplace includes pets; but the fact is it means going to a shelter where, if it is full, they'll euthanize you.  Lucky for these cats we rescued them to avoid that fate, just minutes from it happening.  Chief is fine with other cats (has another orange tabby best bud – Sunshine)  if you are looking for two felines to add to your family.  But he is also quite happy to be by himself; look at that photo, he's got good confidence. He'll be great with kids, and seems fine with our gentle dog too!
