Mac is an AKC registered, 4 and 1/2yr old, male Neutered Yellow Labrador Retriever that needs a home.

Positive attributes:
1. Great watchdog. He will keep the squirrels and cats out of your yard. He won't let strangers in either.
2. Loves to play frisbee and catch. He will fetch a tennis ball until he is exhausted. He loves water and will chase the hose until he is soaked. He doesn't mind a bath either.
3. Good health. Recent vet exam (Feb 08) and up-to-date on all vaccines.
4. Likes to be outside but will follow you around and sleep nearby when he is inside. He is very loveable. He sleeps in the house at night.
5.Good with kids of any age. He has been with my 21 month old grandson and 7 yr old granddaughter since their birth on a regular basis. He has never shown any aggression towards people.
6. Knows basic commands — sit, lay down, stay, shake

Negative Attributes:
He is aggressive towards some dogs. It is hard to take him for a walk because you never know what dog will set him off. He growls and lunges at them, but doesn't or hasn't bitten them. And it is only some dogs. Once he knows a dog he is fine with them. The vet says he is passive and not an Alpha dog. He only wants to "get them" before they get him. He would be best placed in an "only dog" household.

He weighs 74 lbs. I have all paperwork on him. He is neutered, shots are up to date. He is on Heartguard and Frontline. He will come with a dog bed, dog house and toys if you want them. Adoption fee is negotiable to the right home.
