A loveable guy

This charming boy was originally caught in a condo complex (2008) and returned after microchipping as it was found he was fixed and we thought he had an owner.  Fast forward to Christmas eve 2012 and a call from the emergency vet.  Mart had been turned in with a large wound on his neck.  Microchip info gave them our contact info so we sprang into rescue mode and brought him home.  Turns out the wound was from a too tight collar, easy to figure out as he was missing all the hair around his neck.  He was a total champ about all the cleaning of the wound and meds and is all healed now, and needs a real home that is much safer than being outside at that complex. He is a loving boy and is fine about other cats and gentle dogs and, like a typical Maine Coon, Mart is large and handsome and has an awesome chirp!
