Smee is a very curious kitten!  He loves to explore everything, and we often find him under furniture, on bookshelves, and in any box or bag he can get to. Sometimes he'll even drag things out of the bags and boxes and carry his new prize around the house!   He loves to burrow into the laundry, and the minute we get out a laundry basket, Smee will jump into it.  He's a little shy around new people, but warms up quickly if they have anything string-like for him to play with.  He's got a strong purr that he shows off when we hold him or pet him, and he meows and meows if he's lonely and can't find someone to play with him.  Smee loves to pounce on his brother, Sharky, and will wrestle with a stuffed animal if Sharky doesn't want to play.

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
