What a friendly cat!

About Joy

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Black and White
  • Color: Tuxedo
  • Current Age: 13 Years 6 Months (best estimate)
  • Microchipped: Yes
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes
Joy is like her name - a Joy!  She likes to be petted and really loves to snuggle with you in bed, and head butts you for more attention.
She comes when you call her and rolls over in ecstasy when you pet her.
She is friendly and outgoing and fine with other cats, and within days was sleeping with the foster home’s gentle dog as well!
Joy likes to play with the turbo track and enjoys catnip toys.
She is likely part Maine Coon as she is a bigger female with longer hair and a great personality - she trills and chirps to talk to you!  And she has a silver undercoat - hard to catch it in photos, but the last one sort of shows it, very pretty.

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
