Max is a bit of an alpha kitty; the take charge type. He likes to act tough sometimes, but

he’s really a pussycat underneath it all. He’s been living on the streets and tries to come

across as a “tough guy.” He is not so sure he’s interested these creatures called

humans, but he’s warming up to them, more and more each day. One thing he really

loves: other cats, especially adult cats. He wants to grow up to be just like them.

Max appears to be unusually smart though. He’s tried to open doors by reaching for the

doorknob (!!). And there is a cat toy he likes that vibrates if the tail is pulled; he’s figured

out how to pull the tail to make it vibrate. He also will sit patiently in his feeding spot

when he hears a cat food can opening up (he really enjoys the wet food) What a clever

baby!

Max LOVES other cats and would make a great companion to any cat that will accept

him. He is especially happy to get attention from humans when the adult cats are

nearby (frankly, we think this makes him feel safer). This is when he stretches into full

purr mode.

He is also completely thrilled to spend his day playing. He plays a little rough, so toys

are best, not hands. He will play with humans a long time if they have a fun toy with

them. He has endless energy for playtime and is an amazing acrobat and athlete!
