13th Street Cat RescueWe are a Non-Profit 501(c)(3), No-Kill, Cat and Kitten Rescue Organization - San Jose, California |
DeDe was with our group for almost a year. Her person had died and she became homeless. She always meowed a hello when you walked into the room. She was very tolerant of all her roomates over the year- esp Esme- her look alike friend- who always wanted to play and disturb DeDe's slumber. She was ill for a few months as we struggled to find out the reason for her distress. She was put to sleep in my arms last week - she was developing FIP and there was nothing more we could do for her except to release her from these sad circumstances. She was a sweet soul and we will all miss her
We have sad news to share with friends of the 13th Cats family. Our Bunny was diagnosed with cancer. We thought she might have a little more time with us, but sadly she has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Since getting sick, her main joy in life was curling up on her foster's bed, and in particular sleeping on her foster's head and purring all night long. We'll miss you Bunny.
