Kona is a medium-haired black cat with the softest fur and the chubbiest tummy. She loves to snuggle on a welcoming lap as much as she loves to play with wand toys. She is a little shy initially and takes time to settle into a new situation. She was adopted with her sister a few years ago but the two were not getting along and were recently returned to our rescue. She is currently in a bedroom of her own at her foster house but seems calm around an older cat when they meet face-to-face. She does not seem particularly interested in getting to know the dogs in the house, so possibly she would do best as a solo kitty or in a situation with a calm older cat where they have room to be apart. Kona is a little bit of a talker and has an adorable little meow. She takes every opportunity to be petted or have a snuggle session. She also loves looking out the window on her kitty condo or on the back of the sofa She is on a kitty diet now to lose a bit of her pudge but thankfully seems to be taking her weight loss journey without being grumpy Kona is a loving, sweet-natured young cat. She will be your best friend once she has time to settle down and understand she is safe and loved!
