Merlin was taken in by his foster family after a neighbor reported him wandering in the freezing cold, trying to get into other neighbors' houses.  After a check on Nextdoor, it seemed that had been ongoing for about a week with no one claiming him.   It is suspected he was either dumped or left behind because this guy is super social and loving - he definitely was not a stray for very long.    He made himself right at home immediately when we brought him in, even though there are four dogs and two other cats here.  He thinks that's just awesome!  The more the merrier, as far as he's concerned.  Aside from his excellent temperament, he is a gorgeous boy.  He has a fantastic shiny, silky coat, super bright eyes, and the most adorable little tufts on the end of his ears - he looks like a little elf!   He perfectly combines playful, fun, silly, and snuggly.  He would do well in almost any home - but we think he'd be happiest where there is a lot of activity, other pets, and plenty of people to play with.   He's a fan favorite here at his foster home, it's going to be tough to let this guy move on to his forever home, but we know we must so we help the next kitty in need because there, unfortunately, are so many in need.   Are you the lucky one who will be Merlin's forever family?
