Have A Soothing Margarita!

Margarita, aka Maggie, is what we call a comfort cat.  Instead of sipping a traditional Margarita at the end of a long day, we suggest your own version of a margarita – your very own Maggie.  Sit down, and Maggie will curl up beside you and help to take the edge off of the day,  She’ll quietly purr and knead those imaginary biscuits while you tell her all about what happened to you during the course of the day.  She’ll patiently listen as long as you softly pet her and occasionally remind her of how wonderful and beautiful and special she is.

Maggie was let down by humans not once, but twice.  First, she was categorized as a feral so that she could get spayed inexpensively.  (That’s why she has the tipped ear.  Just spend five minutes with Maggie, and you know that she is not feral!)  Then she was abandoned – somewhere near 101 and the airport – just dumped out and left to fend for herself.  A Good Samaritan found her and brought her to the shelter.   The rest is history, as now Maggie has been rescued.  She awaits the best forever home there is, as Maggie so deserves to be safe and protected and loved – at long last.

Maggie is a quiet soul.  She is not the life of the party, but rather would prefer to spend quiet evenings, curled up beside you as you watch old movies, re-read a favorite novel or just sit quietly sipping a margarita and thinking about life.  You see, Maggie is your comfort cat.  She will always be at your side, ready to dispense a soft purr in exchange for a gentle ear rub.  That’s the quiet, good life Maggie is seeking.   Might you be that special human Maggie is ready to bring into her life?

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
